Pure. rAW. Local. Unforgettable.

In the heart of the North Bruce Peninsula, master beekeeper Geoffrey Jennen has been caring for bees for over 30 years. Taught by his mentor and father, Walter Jennen, Geoffrey learned the art and science of beekeeping from an early age, a legacy built on knowledge, patience, and deep respect for the natural world.
The North Bruce Peninsula is a unique region, with rugged limestone shores, emerald forests, and meadows bursting with wildflowers. This diverse landscape offers our bees an abundance of nectar sources found nowhere else in the world. From spring’s first blossoms to late-summer blooms, each season’s honey production reflects the distinct character of the Peninsula’s flora. With a shorter beekeeping season here, every drop of Bruce Peninsula raw honey is especially precious.
Geoffrey is more than a beekeeper; he is also a skilled bee breeder, utilizing various bee genetics to raise strong, resilient colonies that thrive in the North Bruce climate. Through his new initiative Project Healthy Bees, he’s dedicated to improving colony health, advancing sustainable practices, and helping fellow beekeepers in the area learn more about bee biology, hive management, and breeding techniques.
At Jennen Bee Farm, it’s not just about honey...it’s about advancing the craft, supporting the beekeeping community, and preserving the harmony between bees and the beautiful land they call home, along with providing quality beekeeping kits for aspiring beekeepers.

About Our Honey
At Jennen Bee Farm, our honey is 100% raw, pure, and unpasteurized, just the way nature intended. We take pride in harvesting our honey with care, ensuring that every jar captures the natural flavor, aroma, and goodness of the flowers our bees visit.
What Makes Our Honey Special
• Raw & gently processed: We never heat or filter our honey in a way that removes its natural enzymes, pollen, or nutrients. This keeps all the beneficial properties intact.
• Locally Produced: Our bees forage on wildflowers, clover, and other native blooms in our region, giving our honey a unique, rich taste that changes slightly with each season.
• Sustainably Harvested: We only take surplus honey, ensuring our bees always have what they need to thrive and stay healthy year-round.
Natural Crystallization
Over time, you may notice your honey starting to crystallize, forming a creamy or grainy texture. This is a completely natural process and a sign that your honey is pure and gently processed. Simply warm the jar in a bowl of warm water to return it to liquid form if you prefer.
Health Benefits
Raw honey is more than just a sweetener — it’s rich in antioxidants, natural enzymes, vitamins, and minerals. It’s known for its soothing qualities and has been valued for centuries as a natural remedy for coughs, sore throats, and overall wellness.
Taste the Difference
Every batch of honey from Jennen Bee Farm tells the story of the land, the flowers, and our hardworking bees. From light and floral spring honey to rich and bold late-summer batches, each jar is a true taste of nature — pure, simple, and local.

At Jennen Bee Farm, we take pride in offering strong, healthy, and locally raised honeybee colonies , from full hives to nucleus colonies (nucs) and mated queens. Our bees are carefully managed and bred for resilience, productivity, and gentle temperaments, perfectly suited for our Northern climate.
Expertly Bred Queens
Our queens are the heart of every colony. Geoffrey Jennen, who has been beekeeping and breeding queens for over 30 years, has perfected the art of producing queens known for their exceptional laying patterns, strong genetics, and calm disposition. Through years of selective breeding, Geoffrey has developed bee lines that demonstrate excellent overwintering ability, strong honey production, and gentle behavior, making them ideal for both hobbyists and commercial operations.
Each queen is locally mated and raised under careful conditions to ensure vigor and longevity. The results speak for themselves — thriving colonies that are productive, healthy, and easy to manage.
